Valentine's Day Party

Valentine's Day Party

Our party will be Wednesday, February 14, at 2:30.  Please have you child write their name on their Valentine's cards.  It will be great practice.  Please do not write who the Valentine's cards go to because it makes them too difficult to pass out.  Please send the Valentine's cards on the February 12 or 13, so the children will have time to put them in the sacks.  We have 31 students in our class.  Please feel free to bring whatever you want for the party.  Here are things that we need:  Orange slices, apple slices, banana halves, grapes, pretzels, candy, cookies,  stickers, and small treats.  We do not need drinks because we have water fountains in our room.
Please take an active part in your child's education and read the "Letter of the Week".
It is very important to go over the letter, number, vocabulary, and theme with your child.  Please read to your child every day.  Storybook Nanny, Miss Yumi, Simicrane, and Oceanhouse all have books read aloud on Youtube.  Please have your child watch great learning shows like Super Why, Word World, Sid the Science Kid, and the Magic School bus, on PBS kids or Netflix.
We like to start group time right away in the morning. I don’t want students to miss out on learning.  It disrupts the class when children come in late. We have to get attendance and lunch count turned in right away. The first bell rings at 8:05 and the tardy bell rings at 8:10.  Please be on time.

*Pre-K will not have class on Thursday, March 29, because we have Pre-K  enrollment for next year.

Thank you, Jen Jones
